Can I get a firm offer for life insurance without paying an application fee?
A:
Yes; application fees are required in advance only for paper applications. The companies that offer online applications like Guarantee Trust Life Insurance do not require any prepayment and you can accept or reject the offer of coverage without commitment.
Keep in mind that the insurance is not in force until you make a payment so often it makes sense to make an estimated first payment with the application in order to bind the coverage immediately.
