What is the maximum age for eligibility on a student health insurance policy?
A:
Usually up to age 29. Students are eligible on the Fortis policy up to age 30 (this is the nation’s most popular student insurance plan and others may vary slightly). Once the policy is issued, however, it may be kept for many years - usually until age 60- after the policyholder is no longer a student.
