Q: I applied for Guarantee Trust life insurance online at FreedomBenefits.net. My bank account was charged last month but I never received any information on the policy. Can you send me the policy that this charge was for?

A: For privacy reasons I do not have access to any personal account information or insurance policies but please call the underwriter's office directly at 800-279-2990. After you applied for life insurance online, you should have received e-mail communication from them about the status of the application, underwriting requirements, policy delivery and billing details. If not, please confirm all of your contact information, especially the e-mail address and mailing address. As with any other online financial transaction, you should receive a confirmation e-mail immediately at the time of enrollment in an insurance plan that provides all of the information you need to follow-up on any subsequent issue. If you complete an online enrollment for any insurance and do not receive a confirmation on the same business day, then immediately follow-up with a telephone call.
