Extending short term medical insurance

Q: I believe my 6 month short-term medical will expire this month. Is it possible for me to have month to month coverage when it expires? I'm not sure how much longer I will need it.

A: Yes, just sign up using the "month-to-month" payment option for any of the plans listed at MedSave.com. You may notice that some of the product brand names have changes since 2005, but the coverage and the price is basically the same. For 2006, OnlineAdviser no longer supports enrollment for products marketed by Assurant Health, Time Insurance, John Alden Insurance, State Farm Insurance or USAA. Chesapeake Life products are replaced by Standard Security Life and FSG insurance products. Overall, compared to 2005, the number of products supported is expanded, customer satisfaction with the remaining supported products is improved, and costs are the same or even lower in some locations.
