What is the maximum length of coverage for a short term health insurance policy?
A:
Policies are typically issued for with a maximum coverage period of 6 months, 12 months or 36 months (36 months policies are not currently available but will be available again starting January 2006). Longer periods of coverage can be achieved simply by re-enrolling in consecutive policies.
