Q: My husband is a type 2 diabetic who wants to leave his fulltime job to be self-employed which would mean losing his company supplied group insurance coverage. I am finding that is not a question of getting affordable major medical insurance for him; it is a question of getting anyone to write him any kind of major medical coverage. What can we do?
A: There is always at least one health insurance option available to type 2 diabetics. Many people in your situation have two or three options available. See the article “Health Insurance for Diabetics” at www.MedSave.com for a full explanation of the coverage options.
