Q: Is the sole employee of a 501(c)(3) organization eligible for a Health Reimbursement Arrangement? If this is available, how would it be different from the regular small business health plan and what is the price?

A: Yes, although there are no specific reference to this issue in the tax laws or IRS publications, we may assume that in the absence of any disqualifying circumstance then this type of health plan is allowed for a non-profit organization. The regular HRA plan at Freedom Benefits will be suitable without modification. The fee is the same ($150) for a one person plan as for a multiple person plan.
